1. COMPETITION OVERVIEW

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

2.1 Participant Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older at the time of entry
• Must be a resident of India with valid government-issued photo ID
• Must have access to a smartphone with internet connectivity
• Must download and register on the Ek Inch mobile application

2.2 Exclusions

• Employees of EkInch (Ovolo IT Building Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) and their immediate family members
• Participants who have violated Ek Inch's terms of service previously

2.3 Verification

• Ek Inch reserves the right to verify participant eligibility at any stage
• Participants may be required to provide additional documentation for verification
• False information will result in immediate disqualification

3. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

3.1 Video Submission Guidelines

• Duration: Maximum 60 seconds
• Content: Must demonstrate genuine skill in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry or related construction fields.
• Quality: Minimum 720p resolution, clear audio
• Language: Hindi, English, or local dialects acceptable
• Format: MP4 format only
• Size: Maximum 100MB per video

3.2 Submission Process

• Upload video through the official Ek Inch mobile application only
• Include participant's face clearly visible in the video
• Provide accurate personal details during submission
• Only one entry per participant allowed
• Submissions must be original work by the participant

3.3 Content Standards

• Must comply with Indian laws and regulations
• No obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content
• No copyrighted music or content without permission
• No dangerous or unsafe work practices
• Must respect all community guidelines

4. PRIZE STRUCTURE

4.2 Physical Prizes

• 1 Bumper Prize: 42 inch LED TV
• Runner up: 32 inch LED TV
• Next 8 Winners: Saregama Carvaan Mini Radios and Kids Speakers
• Next 200 Winners: INR 100 each
• Next 100 Winners: INR 50 each

4.3 Prize Distribution Conditions

• Cash rewards will be distributed via bank transfer within 30 days of announcement
• Physical prizes will be shipped within 45 days of winner announcement
• Winners must provide valid banking details and shipping addresses
• All taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner
• Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash equivalent

5. JUDGING CRITERIA

5.1 Evaluation Parameters

• Technical Skill (40%): Demonstration of professional competency
• Video Quality (20%): Clarity, stability, and production value
• Innovation (20%): Creative problem-solving or unique techniques
• Safety Standards (10%): Adherence to safety protocols
• Presentation (10%): Clear communication and professional demeanor

5.2 Judging Process

• Initial screening by Ek Inch technical team
• Final judging by panel of industry experts
• Decisions are final and binding
• No correspondence will be entertained regarding judging decisions
• Results will be announced within 7 days of competition closure

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

6.1 Content Ownership

• Participants retain ownership of their submitted videos
• By participating, participants grant Ek Inch perpetual, royalty-free license to use submitted content
• Ek Inch may use videos for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes
• Participants' names and likenesses may be used for publicity without additional compensation

6.2 Usage Rights

• Ek Inch may edit, modify, or enhance submitted videos
• Content may be used across all Ek Inch platforms and marketing materials
• Participants waive moral rights claims against Ek Inch's use of content

7. DISQUALIFICATION CONDITIONS

7.1 Immediate Disqualification

• Submission of plagiarized or non-original content
• Violation of video submission guidelines
• Providing false or misleading information
• Engaging in fraudulent activities or manipulation
• Violation of platform terms of service
• Inappropriate or offensive content submission

7.2 Discretionary Disqualification

• Ek Inch reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole discretion
• Disqualification decisions are final and non-appealable
• No compensation will be provided for disqualified participants

8. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS

8.1 Limited Liability

• Ek Inch's liability is limited to the prize value only
• No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Participants engage in video creation activities at their own risk
• Ek Inch is not responsible for technical failures or submission issues

8.2 Force Majeure

• Competition may be modified or cancelled due to circumstances beyond Ek Inch's control
• Natural disasters, government regulations, or technical failures may affect the competition
• Ek Inch reserves the right to modify rules with reasonable notice

8.3 Platform Limitations

• Ek Inch is not responsible for app crashes, internet connectivity issues, or device malfunctions
• Participants are responsible for ensuring proper video submission
• Technical support will be provided on best-effort basis

9. DATA PRIVACY AND PROTECTION

9.1 Data Collection

• Personal information collected will be used solely for competition purposes
• Data handling complies with applicable Indian data protection laws
• Participant consent is required for data processing

9.2 Data Usage

• Contact information may be used for prize distribution and communication
• Marketing communications require separate explicit consent
• The data will be used solely by Ekinch and the sponsors of the competition.
• Ekinch may use this data for future communications, product launches, and other updates or announcements.

10. MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION

10.1 Rule Modifications

• Ek Inch reserves the right to modify competition rules with 48 hours notice
• Material changes will be communicated through the app and official channels
• Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified rules

10.2 Competition Termination

• Competition may be terminated early due to insufficient participation
• Fraud, technical issues, or legal concerns may result in termination
• Prizes for valid submissions will be honored even if competition is terminated early

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1 Governing Law

• These terms are governed by Indian law
• Courts in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India have exclusive jurisdiction
• Indian laws take precedence over conflicting international laws

11.2 Dispute Process

• All disputes must be raised within 30 days of the incident
• Initial resolution attempt through Ek Inch customer service
• Escalation to arbitration if mutual resolution fails
• Arbitration will be conducted under Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015

12. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

12.1 Severability

• If any provision is deemed invalid, remaining terms continue to apply
• Invalid provisions will be modified to achieve intended effect

12.2 Entire Agreement

• These terms constitute the complete agreement between parties
• No verbal agreements or representations outside these terms are valid

12.3 Communication

• Official communications will be sent through the Ek Inch app
• Participants responsible for monitoring app notifications
• Email communications to registered email addresses

13. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND PUBLICITY

13.1 Announcement Process

• Winners will be announced through Ek Inch app and social media
• Individual notification to winners via registered contact information
• Public announcement within 7 days of judging completion

13.2 Publicity Rights

• Winners consent to use of name, image, and video for promotional purposes
• No additional compensation for publicity usage
• Participation in promotional activities may be required
